My name is Anna Lear. I am a publicist and food scholar with a passion for making connections and helping restaurants succeed.
Food is more than just sustenance. It is a means of bringing people together, a source of unique, shared experiences, and a canvas for creativity and cultural expression.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, my extroverted nature led me to sales roles at Gartner in Dallas, TX and Adgile Media Group in New York City. There, I discovered a passion for helping people and businesses achieve their strategic initiatives. Simultaneously, my obsession with food and restaurants grew by the day, and I realized I was meant to bring this passion into the restaurant space.
Pursuing this, I enrolled in NYU's Food Studies Master's program, where I serve as an Event Coordinator in the Food Studies Graduate Society. I spent time serving at Hillstone, a renowned restaurant chain known for its high standards of quality, where I learned invaluable lessons about distinguishing service from true hospitality. I was inspired by the challenges and rewards of running a restaurant.
As a publicist for Rachel Harrison Communications, I am proud to partner with restaurants and bars, helping them succeed and gain the recognition they deserve.
